Hi everybody! I’m Sara Kay. I am a level 2 Sommelier through the ISG. I run a lovely WineStyles, which is a store and a bar in the South Loop of Chicago, on Michigan Ave.
I also have a 23 year background in theatre, and for the last 5 years since relocating from Florida to Chicago have focused exclusively on comedy. I have been a wine educator for 4 years, an art educator for 10 years, and a theatre educator for 15 years! Here on Winesoaked.com I plan on blending all of these skills.
I plan on posting at least one wine show per week to take you on my own personal journey of wine education. I also will be posting new and fun information, thoughts, and reports. And occasionally I will bring special guests onto the show or the blog.
I am raising funds right now to attend the diploma level of ISG this winter, and if I hit my target I will be taking you all along with me on that year long process as well. So far I still have $3,000 to go.
I am always looking for suggestions and feedback! But most of all just have fun and DRINK UP!
