  • Wine 101: Covering the BIG 6

This is an intro to wine class, that covers the six most popular international varietals. It also teaches you how to assess wine, and hone your palate so that you can more easily identify what you like, and even more importantly what you do not like, to aid you on your journey as a wine enthusiast… or savvy casual wine drinker.

  • Wine 101: Red Red Wine…

This is an intro to wine class that covers six major red varietals. It teaches you basic red wine production and history. It also teaches you sensory evaluation for red wines, so that you know how to describe what you are looking for the next time you are in a wine shop or restaurant. It will make you feel so fine.

  • Wine 101: White Wonders

This is an intro to wine class that covers six major white varietals. It teaches you basic white wine production and history. It also teaches you sensory evaluation for white wines, so that you know how to describe what you are looking for the next time you are in a wine shop or restaurant. This is a great class for learning about food pairings.

  • Wine 101: Bubblicious

This is an intro to wine class that covers major sparkling wine teckniques and productions regions from Champagne to South Africa. It teaches you basic sparkling  wine production and history. It also teaches you sensory evaluation for sparkling wines, so that you know how to describe what you are looking for the next time you are in a wine shop or restaurant. This class will show you that bubbles can be an everyday occasion.

  • Wine 101: Candy Land

This is an intro to wine class that covers dessert and fortified wines from moscato, to sherry, and port wine. It teaches you basic after-dinner wine production and history. It also teaches you sensory evaluation for white wines, so that you know how to describe what you are looking for the next time you are in a wine shop or restaurant. It shows you a slightly more satisfying way to end a meal then chocolate cake.

  • Wine 101: Wine on a Dime

This class teaches you how to cost-effectively navigate a restaurant wine list, and a wine retail shop to get the best quality and the most reasonable price. That way you can drink cheap and good every day.

 

Wine Intensive Class Options:

These classes are designed for the groups that want to take things a bit more seriously. They are two to three hours in length.
